Description

Your choice of 1/2 inch to 4 Inch Diameter Clear Schedule 40 PVC pipe, cut to length.  (Pipe has bluish tint, see pictures.)  Pipe diameter is the approximate ID (inside-diameter).  (PVC Pipe Diameters aren’t the exact ID of the pipe as you can see below.  This is industry-wide, and not specific to our pipe.  If you are needing a very specific ID, please pay close attention.)
1/2 inch has an ID of 0.602 inch and an OD of 0.840 inch.
3/4 inch has an ID of 0.804 inch and an OD of 1.050 inch.
1 inch has an ID of 1.029 inch and an OD of 1.315 inch.
1-1/4 inch has an ID of 1.360 inch and an OD of 1.660 inch.
1-1/2 inch has an ID of 1.590 inch and an OD of 1.900 inch.
2 inch has an ID of 2.047 inch and an OD of 2.375 inch.
2 1/2 inch has an ID of 2.445 inch and an OD of 2.875 inch.
3 inch has an ID of 3.042 inch and an OD of 3.500 inch.
4 inch has an ID of 3.998 inch and an OD of 4.500 inch.

This pipe is manufactured in strict compliance to ASTM D1785.
Pipe has no printing or engraving on it.
Pipe has a bluish tint to prevent yellowing over time from UV exposure. (See pictures)
For use with standard PVC fittings and PVC cement.
The image which shows a flashlight inside is representative of the 2 inch and below diameters, and the image which shows an umbrella inside is representative of the 2½ and above diameters.  Please pay attention to the color and clarity to verify it is suitable for your application.
This pipe should be protected from the sun.  Extended exposure to ultraviolet light may cause discoloration, and the heat may cause warping.
Length variance is +/- 1/16 Inch.
How to cut:  If you need to cut the pipe, you should avoid using a ratchet-style PVC cutter, as that will likely break this pipe.  Instead, use a saw such as a hacksaw, miter saw or radial arm saw, or one of the pipe cutters that you tighten a little, turn on the pipe, tighten some more and turn on the pipe and repeat until the pipe is cut.
We have a “Some Scratches / Imperfections” section for some diameters of pipe from time to time.  We sometimes end up with lightly scratched pieces of pipe and/or pipe with a localized discoloration or other minor cosmetic defect which will work fine for many applications, so we offer them for a savings.

If you are choosing the free shipping, please use an address to which the USPS will deliver.  We often ship by USPS, so if you use an address that doesn’t have a mail receptacle, the USPS will end up returning it to us.  If you do not have an address to which the USPS will deliver, please select to ship by UPS for $7.95 which helps us cover the additional cost of shipping by UPS.  To do this, you will need to go to the checkout screen, and make sure your ship to address is entered and saved.  Once that is done, you should see two shipping options, the “Free Shipping” option and the “UPS Ground” option for $7.95.
PLEASE NOTE:  The UPS Ground upgrade for $7.95 is only available for the contiguous 48 states.  It is not available for Alaska and Hawaii.  If we receive a UPS Ground order going to Hawaii or Alaska, we will refund the $7.95 charge and send by Priority Mail because UPS Ground is extremely expensive to Alaska and Hawaii.
